C. Tobacco Prevention, Empowerment, Treatment, Protection and Evaluation

Tobacco use complication is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. There is great need for its demand reduction since tobacco use does not only affect the direct smoker but there are cases of second and third hand smoke affecting innocent persons.

There is need to encourage those who smoke to consider quitting or give them safe alternatives. And give those desirous of treatment adequate care. This can only be achieved with professionals with sufficient knowledge of tobacco treatment.
